SEMI-PERMANENT MAKEUP

LIP PIGMENTATION

Also known as the lip blush treatment, this semi-permanent treatment enhances your natural lip shape, color and symmetry. Whether you want to define your lips or balance unevenness, this treatment is customized to you and lasts up to a year.

Using a specialized machine and ultra fine needles we softly deposit organic pigment throughout the entire lip. This creates a distinct illusion of volume, it balances the lips and asymmetrical borders, camouflages hyperpigmentation and dark spots.

This treatment is perfect for those who want to save time daily and have a waterproof color on their lips.

    • Post-treatment care is essential for the healing, appearance, and longevity of your lip pigmentation results. Healing typically takes around one week

    • Keep your lips moisturized all the time. Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream twice, daily

    • Lipstick, gloss, or chapstick can be worn after 4 days

    • Avoid any rubbing, touching, or friction on the lips for at least 4 days to prevent pigment loss

    • Refrain from consuming alcohol, sour juices, spicy and saulty food or smoking for a few hours post-treatment

    • Avoid swimming pools, jacuzzis, saunas, and hot yoga for one week

    • Stay out of direct sun and avoid tanning beds for at least 2 weeks before and after the procedure. After 1 week, you may apply SPF 50 to protect your lips

    • Do not use facial treatments, peels, lasers, or creams containing acids for 3 weeks post-treatment

    • Always wash your hands before touching your lips

    • Do not pick, peel, or scratch the treated area — let it heal naturally

    • Wash your face gently, avoiding the lip area for the first 4 days

    • Makeup can be applied around the lip area during the first week

  • Lip pigmentation treatment is not recommended in the following cases:

    • During pregnancy (treatment can be safely done 3 months after giving birth, once hormones have stabilized)

    • Under the influence of alcohol or drugs

    • While taking blood-thinning medications

    • If you have diabetes or hemophilia (blood-related conditions)

    • During chemotherapy

    • If you have heart or vascular diseases

    • If you suffer from immune disorders

    • While using Roaccutane (acne medication)

    • While on a course of antibiotics

    • If the skin around the lip area is irritated or inflamed

    • If you’ve recently had a chemical peel or skin treatment involving acids

    • If you’ve had Botox within 2 weeks prior to the treatment

    • If you are prone to cold sores (herpes simplex)

Important: If you’ve had a cold sore in the past, there is a possibility it may be triggered after the lip pigmentation treatment. To minimise this risk, we recommend taking L-Lysine supplements for two weeks before your appointment to help strengthen your immune response. The best option would be to get a prescription of Acyclovir from your GP as a preventative measure.
