2. What Data We Collect & Why We Need It

We only ever ask for the absolute bare minimum required to give you a great experience. We collect information in three ways:

  • When you book an appointment: To book a treatment, you will use our booking widget. We request your name, email address, and phone number so we can confirm your slot, send appointment reminders, or reach out if there is an unexpected schedule change.

  • When you join our newsletter: Subscribing to our updates is 100% optional. If you choose to sign up, we only ask for your email address so we can send you beautiful inspiration, tips and salon updates. You can unsubscribe instantly at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email.

  • When you browse our website: Our website drops small cookies into your browser to keep the site running securely and to give us basic, anonymous insights into how many people visit our pages.

3. Who Handles Your Data? (Our Trusted Partners)

We will never sell, rent, or lease your personal data to third parties. To run our business smoothly, we share your data with just three highly secure, GDPR-compliant service providers:

  1. Salonized: Our appointment scheduling system. They securely process your contact details solely to manage your bookings.

  2. Squarespace: Our website hosting provider. They host the digital infrastructure of our site and securely manage our newsletter subscription form.

  3. Mailchimp: The secure platform we use to design and send out our optional newsletter.

4. How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

We don't hold onto your information forever:

  • Booking Info: Kept as long as you remain an active client of Brow Atelier so we know your treatment history. (Note: Under Dutch tax laws, we must retain basic invoice and financial records for 7 years).

  • Newsletter Info: Kept for as long as you choose to stay subscribed. If you click unsubscribe, your email is immediately deactivated.

5. Your Legal Rights (AVG/GDPR)

Because you live in the EU, you have complete control over your digital footprint. At any time, you have the right to:

  • Ask us to see what information we have stored about you.

  • Ask us to fix or update any incorrect information.

  • Ask us to completely delete your personal records from our salon files (the "Right to be Forgotten").
